Pre-Purchase Plumbing Inspections New Farm

Roof & Plumbing Inspections Before Purchase New Farm

TRG Plumbing’s fully licensed team provides detailed pre-purchase roof and plumbing inspections in New Farm, one of Brisbane’s most sought-after riverside suburbs just 2 km from the CBD. With its mix of heritage Queenslanders, art deco apartments, luxury riverfront residences, and modern architect-designed homes, New Farm’s properties present a wide range of potential maintenance challenges, from ageing roofing materials to concealed plumbing faults.

Our New Farm Pre-Purchase Roof and Plumbing Inspection Services Include:

Comprehensive plumbing system checks:
Inspecting pipes, taps, fixtures, and fittings for leaks or wear.
Roof and gutter inspections:
Identifying corrosion, damaged flashing, cracked tiles, and loose fixings.
CCTV drain camera inspections:
Detecting underground blockages, cracks, or collapsed pipes.
Hot water system evaluation:
Confirming safe, efficient, and compliant operation.
Water pressure testing:
Protecting fixtures and appliances from excess strain.
Detailed written reports:
Providing clear, actionable findings for buyers and agents.

Purchasing a property without a thorough inspection can lead to expensive repairs down the track. Our inspections are designed to uncover both visible and hidden issues, giving you the information you need to make an informed decision, negotiate repairs, or adjust your offer before settlement.

We contacted TRG the night prior and received immediate contact. Their team was on-site within 36 hours and completed a very tricky job of installing a new Water heater in a tight loft space to replace one that was leaking and causing damage. They perform their duties with great professionalism and quality work, on time and to the exact quote they stated. I would use them again and encourage anyone else to use them also. Ian

Roof & Plumbing Inspections Before Purchase New Farm FAQ

Our pre-purchase roof and plumbing inspections in New Farm help identify hidden issues in heritage Queenslanders, luxury apartments, and commercial properties, so you can make a confident purchase decision and avoid unexpected repair bills.

Why should I get a roof and plumbing inspection before buying in New Farm?

New Farm properties can have concealed issues such as roof leaks, blocked drains, and aging plumbing that aren’t visible during a standard building inspection. Our inspections uncover these problems before you commit.

What does the roof inspection include?

We check roof coverings, flashing, gutters, downpipes, ventilation, and signs of leaks, rust, or storm damage.

What does the plumbing inspection include?

We assess water pressure, inspect visible pipework, test hot water systems, assess drainage, and use leak detection methods to find hidden leaks.

Do you use CCTV for drain inspections?

Yes. We run CCTV cameras through drains to identify blockages, cracks, tree root intrusion, or collapsed sections.

Will I receive a written report?

Yes. You’ll receive a detailed report with photos, findings, and recommendations so you can budget or negotiate with the seller.

Do you provide cost estimates for repairs?

Yes. We can give indicative repair pricing to help you plan expenses or renegotiate your purchase price.

Do you inspect residential, commercial, and investment properties?

Yes. We work with homebuyers, investors, and business owners to inspect properties of all sizes in New Farm.

When should I book the inspection?

Ideally before making an unconditional offer or during the cooling-off period so you can act on the findings.

What if major issues are found?

You can use our report to request repairs, renegotiate the price, or reconsider the purchase.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully licensed and insured to conduct both roofing and plumbing inspections in Queensland.

How quickly can you book an inspection in New Farm?

We can often attend within 24–48 hours to meet contract or auction timelines.

Do you check for storm readiness?

Yes. We assess gutter capacity, roof condition, and drainage systems to ensure the property is prepared for Brisbane’s storm season.
