We contacted TRG the night prior and received immediate contact. Their team was on-site within 36 hours and completed a very tricky job of installing a new Water heater in a tight loft space to replace one that was leaking and causing damage. They perform their duties with great professionalism and quality work, on time and to the exact quote they stated. I would use them again and encourage anyone else to use them also. Ian

Stormwater Drainage Kelvin Grove FAQ

We design, install, and maintain stormwater drainage systems in Kelvin Grove, protecting homes, apartments, commercial premises, and student accommodation from flooding, erosion, and water damage during Brisbane’s heavy rain events.

Why is stormwater drainage important in Kelvin Grove?

Kelvin Grove’s mix of older homes, high-density housing, and commercial spaces means effective stormwater management is essential to prevent flooding, property damage, and erosion.

How do I know if I have a stormwater drainage issue?

Signs include pooling water, overflowing gutters, damp walls, mould growth, or water entering the property during heavy rain.

Do I need council approval for stormwater drainage work?

Yes. Any changes to your property’s drainage system must comply with Brisbane City Council regulations and may require permits.

Can you install new stormwater systems?

Yes. We design and install complete stormwater drainage solutions, including pits, pipes, and connections to the council network.

Do you repair blocked or damaged stormwater pipes?

Yes. We use CCTV inspections to locate blockages or damage and then perform clearing, relining, or full pipe replacements as needed.

What causes stormwater problems in Kelvin Grove?

Common causes include leaf litter from nearby trees, debris from construction, undersized or damaged pipes, and improper grading.

Can stormwater be reused?

Yes. We can install rainwater harvesting systems to store runoff for garden irrigation, toilet flushing, or other non-potable uses.

How often should stormwater systems be maintained?

At least annually, and before and after Brisbane’s storm season, to keep gutters, pits, and drains clear and functioning.

Do you work on residential, commercial, and strata properties?

Yes. We provide stormwater drainage services for homes, businesses, apartments, and body corporate-managed properties in Kelvin Grove.

Can you upgrade an existing drainage system?

Yes. We can increase pipe capacity, add pits, and improve grading to manage heavy rain and prevent flooding.

What materials do you use for stormwater pipes?

We use durable PVC for most residential jobs and reinforced concrete for heavy-duty or commercial applications.

How quickly can you respond to stormwater issues in Kelvin Grove?

We offer fast local response times, with same-day service available for urgent flooding or blockages.
