Pre-Purchase Plumbing Inspections Petrie Terrace

Roof & Plumbing Inspections Before Purchase Petrie Terrace

TRG Plumbing’s fully licensed team provides detailed pre-purchase roof and plumbing inspections in Petrie Terrace, a historic inner-city Brisbane suburb just 2 km from the CBD. With its mix of heritage-listed cottages, Victorian terraces, and modern infill developments, Petrie Terrace properties present a range of potential maintenance concerns, from ageing roofs and gutters to outdated plumbing systems and hidden drainage issues.

Our Petrie Terrace Pre-Purchase Roof and Plumbing Inspection Services Include:

Comprehensive plumbing system checks:
Assessing pipes, taps, fixtures, and fittings for leaks or deterioration.
Roof and gutter inspections:
Identifying corrosion, cracked tiles, damaged flashing, and loose fixings.
CCTV drain camera inspections:
Detecting underground blockages, cracks, or collapsed pipes.
Hot water system evaluation:
Confirming safe, efficient, and compliant operation.
Water pressure testing:
Protecting fixtures and appliances from excessive strain.
Detailed written reports:
Providing clear, actionable findings for buyers and agents.

Buying a property in this tightly packed suburb without a thorough inspection can lead to costly surprises, such as roof leaks, corroded pipes, or blocked stormwater systems. Our inspections identify both visible and concealed issues, giving buyers the clarity needed to make informed decisions and negotiate repairs before settlement.

We contacted TRG the night prior and received immediate contact. Their team was on-site within 36 hours and completed a very tricky job of installing a new Water heater in a tight loft space to replace one that was leaking and causing damage. They perform their duties with great professionalism and quality work, on time and to the exact quote they stated. I would use them again and encourage anyone else to use them also. Ian

Roof & Plumbing Inspections Before Purchase Petrie Terrace FAQ

Our pre-purchase roof and plumbing inspections in Petrie Terrace uncover hidden issues in heritage cottages, modern apartments, and commercial buildings, helping you make informed buying decisions and avoid costly surprises.

Why should I get a roof and plumbing inspection before buying in Petrie Terrace?

Petrie Terrace’s mix of historic homes and newer developments means hidden issues like roof leaks, blocked drains, or aging pipework may not be obvious during a standard building inspection.

What does the roof inspection include?

We check roof coverings, flashing, gutters, downpipes, ventilation, and look for leaks, corrosion, and storm or structural damage.

What does the plumbing inspection include?

We test water pressure, inspect visible plumbing, assess hot water systems, check drainage, and use leak detection tools to find hidden problems.

Do you use CCTV for drain checks?

Yes. We conduct CCTV drain inspections to identify cracks, blockages, tree root intrusion, and collapsed sections.

Will I receive a written report?

Yes. You’ll receive a comprehensive report with photos, findings, and recommendations for repairs or negotiations.

Do you provide cost estimates for repairs?

Yes. We can give indicative costings so you can budget accordingly or renegotiate the purchase price.

Do you inspect both residential and commercial properties?

Yes. We inspect houses, apartments, investment properties, and commercial premises in Petrie Terrace.

When should I book the inspection?

Ideally before making an unconditional offer, or during the cooling-off period so you can act on any findings.

What if major issues are found?

Our reports can help you renegotiate, request repairs before settlement, or reconsider the purchase.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully licensed and insured to carry out both roofing and plumbing inspections in Queensland.

How quickly can you book an inspection in Petrie Terrace?

We can usually attend within 24–48 hours to meet contract or auction deadlines.

Do you check for storm readiness?

Yes. We assess roof condition, guttering, and drainage to ensure the property is prepared for Brisbane’s storm season.
