We contacted TRG the night prior and received immediate contact. Their team was on-site within 36 hours and completed a very tricky job of installing a new Water heater in a tight loft space to replace one that was leaking and causing damage. They perform their duties with great professionalism and quality work, on time and to the exact quote they stated. I would use them again and encourage anyone else to use them also. Ian

Ready to safeguard your CBD property against stormwater risks?

Smart Drainage Design & Retrofit in the CBD

We engineer solutions that work within existing structures, such as integrating undercover drains, regrading, or internal collection, ensuring water is safely redirected without compromising built form or functionality.

Proactive Maintenance & Blockage Prevention

CBD drainage systems are often hidden and high-stress. We perform ongoing maintenance, including CCTV surveys, pit cleaning, and fast response clearing, to maintain performance and avoid disruptions in high-traffic business areas.

Flood Resilience & Innovative Infrastructure

In strategic locations like McLachlan and James Streets, recent Council upgrades have introduced advanced stormwater mitigation and 3D-mapped infrastructure for flood protection. We can help integrate similar features, such as detention chambers or subsurface drainage enhancements, to bolster flood resilience in properties across the CBD.

Stormwater Drainage Services Brisbane City FAQ

We design, install, and maintain stormwater drainage systems for Brisbane City’s residential, commercial, and high-rise properties, ensuring effective water management during the region’s heavy rainfalls and storm seasons.

Why is stormwater drainage important in Brisbane City?

Proper stormwater management prevents flooding, protects building foundations, reduces erosion, and helps manage Brisbane’s intense seasonal rain events.

How do I know if I have a stormwater drainage issue?

Signs include pooling water, overflowing gutters, damp or mouldy walls, or water entering the property during heavy rain.

Do I need council approval for stormwater works in the CBD?

Yes. Any modification to stormwater systems must comply with Brisbane City Council regulations and approval processes.

Can you install new stormwater drainage systems?

Yes. We design and install complete stormwater solutions, including pits, pipes, and connections to the council network.

Do you repair blocked or damaged stormwater pipes?

Yes. We use CCTV inspections to identify blockages, cracks, or collapsed pipes, and then repair or replace as needed.

What are common stormwater issues in Brisbane City?

Leaf litter, debris from construction, undersized or damaged pipes, poor surface grading, and high-rise water run-off challenges.

Can stormwater be reused?

Yes. We can install rainwater harvesting systems to store stormwater for irrigation, toilet flushing, and other non-potable uses.

How often should stormwater systems be maintained?

At least annually, and before and after Brisbane’s storm season, to keep pipes, gutters, and pits clear.

Do you work on commercial and high-rise stormwater systems?

Yes. We design, maintain, and repair large-scale drainage systems for commercial buildings and high-rise developments in the CBD.

Can you upgrade existing stormwater systems?

Yes. We increase capacity, add pits, and improve grading to manage heavy water flow and prevent flooding.

What materials do you use for stormwater pipes?

We typically use PVC for residential and smaller-scale work, and reinforced concrete for high-load or large-capacity applications.

How quickly can you respond to stormwater issues in Brisbane City?

We offer fast response for urgent flooding concerns and scheduled service for routine maintenance and upgrades.
