Pre-Purchase Plumbing Inspections Paddington

Roof & Plumbing Inspections Before Purchase Paddington

TRG Plumbing’s fully licensed team provides thorough pre-purchase roof and plumbing inspections in Paddington, a character-filled inner-west Brisbane suburb just 2 km from the CBD. With its steep hills, charming heritage Queenslanders, workers’ cottages, and high-end modern builds, Paddington’s properties often present unique maintenance challenges, from ageing roofing materials to outdated plumbing systems.

Our Paddington Pre-Purchase Roof and Plumbing Inspection Services Include:

Comprehensive plumbing system checks:
Inspecting pipes, taps, fixtures, and fittings for leaks or deterioration.
Roof and gutter inspections:
Detecting corrosion, damaged flashing, cracked tiles, and loose fixings.
CCTV drain camera inspections:
Locating underground blockages, cracks, or collapsed pipes.
Hot water system evaluation:
Ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation.
Water pressure testing:
Protecting fixtures from excessive strain.
Detailed written reports:
Providing clear, actionable findings for buyers and agents.

Purchasing a home or investment property in Paddington without a detailed inspection can result in unexpected repair costs. Our inspections identify visible and hidden issues, giving you the confidence to negotiate repairs or adjust your offer before settlement.

We contacted TRG the night prior and received immediate contact. Their team was on-site within 36 hours and completed a very tricky job of installing a new Water heater in a tight loft space to replace one that was leaking and causing damage. They perform their duties with great professionalism and quality work, on time and to the exact quote they stated. I would use them again and encourage anyone else to use them also. Ian

Roof & Plumbing Inspections Before Purchase Paddington FAQ

Our pre-purchase roof and plumbing inspections in Paddington uncover hidden issues in heritage Queenslanders, modern homes, and investment properties, helping you buy with confidence and avoid unexpected repair costs.

Why should I get a roof and plumbing inspection before buying in Paddington?

Paddington’s older homes and elevated designs can hide problems like roof leaks, blocked drains, and aging plumbing that aren’t obvious during a standard inspection. We help identify these issues before you commit.

What does the roof inspection include?

We check roof coverings, flashing, gutters, downpipes, ventilation, and look for leaks, rust, or storm damage.

What does the plumbing inspection include?

We test water pressure, inspect visible pipework, check hot water systems, assess drainage, and look for hidden leaks.

Do you use CCTV for drain checks?

Yes. We use CCTV cameras to inspect underground drains for blockages, cracks, tree root intrusion, or collapsed sections.

Will I receive a written report?

Yes. You’ll get a detailed report with photos, findings, and recommendations for repairs or maintenance.

Do you provide cost estimates for repairs?

Yes. We can give you indicative pricing so you can budget accordingly or negotiate with the seller.

Do you inspect both residential and commercial properties?

Yes. We work with homebuyers, investors, and business owners purchasing properties in Paddington.

When should I book the inspection?

Before making an unconditional offer or during the cooling-off period to ensure you can act on the findings.

What if major issues are found?

You can use our report to renegotiate the price, request repairs, or decide not to proceed with the purchase.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We’re fully licensed and insured to carry out both roofing and plumbing inspections in Queensland.

How quickly can you perform an inspection in Paddington?

We can often attend within 24–48 hours to meet contract or auction timelines.

Do you check for storm readiness?

Yes. We assess gutter capacity, roof condition, and drainage to ensure the property is prepared for Brisbane’s storm season.
