Stormwater Drainage New Farm

At TRG Plumbing, our fully licensed and insured team delivers specialist stormwater drainage solutions to New Farm, an inner-northern riverside suburb in Brisbane, known for its leafy streets, character homes, and heritage-rich urban landscape. With increasingly dense development and legacy drainage systems, New Farm demands precision-engineered solutions to manage runoff effectively while protecting sensitive environments.

Our New Farm Blocked Drain and CCTV Services Include:

Emergency blocked drain clearing:
Rapid response to restore drainage and prevent flooding.
CCTV drain camera inspections:
Detecting blockages, cracks, or collapsed sections.
High-pressure water jetting:
Removing roots, grease, and stubborn debris.
Stormwater drain clearing:
Protecting properties during Brisbane’s wet season.
Pipe relining and trenchless repairs:
Repairing pipes without digging.
Preventative drain maintenance:
Scheduled inspections to prevent future issues.

We know managing stormwater here means more than redirecting water, it’s about protecting foundations, gardens, and heritage structures from erosion and flooding. Our services are designed for resilience, compliance, and seamless integration into New Farm’s unique urban fabric, while aligning with suspected Council upgrades underway.

We contacted TRG the night prior and received immediate contact. Their team was on-site within 36 hours and completed a very tricky job of installing a new Water heater in a tight loft space to replace one that was leaking and causing damage. They perform their duties with great professionalism and quality work, on time and to the exact quote they stated. I would use them again and encourage anyone else to use them also. Ian

Stormwater Drainage New Farm FAQ

We design, install, and maintain stormwater drainage systems in New Farm, helping protect heritage homes, riverfront apartments, and commercial properties from flooding, erosion, and water damage during Brisbane’s wet season.

Why is stormwater drainage important in New Farm?

New Farm’s mix of older homes, high-density apartments, and commercial buildings makes effective stormwater management essential to prevent flooding, structural damage, and erosion.

How can I tell if I have a stormwater drainage problem?

Signs include pooling water, overflowing gutters, damp or mouldy walls, erosion in gardens, or water entering your property during heavy rain.

Do I need council approval for stormwater drainage work?

Yes. Any modifications to a property’s drainage system must comply with Brisbane City Council regulations and may require permits.

Can you install new stormwater systems?

Yes. We design and install complete stormwater solutions, including pits, pipes, and connections to the council network.

Do you repair blocked or damaged stormwater pipes?

Yes. Using CCTV inspections, we locate blockages or damage and carry out clearing, relining, or full replacements as needed.

What causes stormwater problems in New Farm?

Common causes include leaf litter from trees, debris from nearby construction, undersized pipes, poor grading, and tree root intrusion.

Can stormwater be reused?

Yes. We can install rainwater harvesting systems to store runoff for garden irrigation, toilet flushing, and other non-potable uses.

How often should stormwater systems be maintained?

We recommend annual maintenance, plus checks before and after Brisbane’s storm season, to keep systems clear and functional.

Do you service both residential and commercial properties?

Yes. We work on stormwater drainage systems for homes, apartments, retail spaces, and offices in New Farm.

Can you upgrade existing stormwater systems?

Yes. We can increase capacity, install additional pits, and improve grading to manage higher water volumes and reduce flood risk.

What materials do you use for stormwater pipes?

We use durable PVC for most residential applications and reinforced concrete for heavy-duty or high-traffic areas.

How quickly can you respond to urgent stormwater issues in New Farm?

We offer prompt local service, with same-day attendance available for urgent flooding or drainage problems.
